Back after a bit of a break. Been heads down on automation. The bot now buys all qualified picks automatically. No more cherry-picking, no more underperforming my own system. NBA returns from All-Star break today. Big slate. No idea how teams will perform after a week off. Rhythm could be off, rotations might be weird. Could see some upsets while everyone gets back into it.

SAC (small unit) 25% odds. All three models agree, which is wild for a heavy underdog. Otterline AI has low confidence, which makes sense. But three-model consensus on a longshot is rare enough to take a small shot.

Post-Break Uncertainty
The model works with pre-break data. Teams coming off a week layoff are unpredictable. Some come out sharp, some come out flat. Approach for today: size down. Do not overcommit until we see how the data catches up to post-break reality.
Olympic Hockey Semifinals
Yesterday quarterfinals were stressful. Both Canada and USA almost lost. Both survived in overtime.
Tomorrow semis: Canada vs Finland — Finland has been great. Canada got their first real test yesterday. Crosby might be back, which would be huge.
USA vs Slovakia — Slovakia has been the surprise of the tournament. Impressive team with a fraction of the budget. They could pull off the upset.
If both favorites win, we get Canada vs USA for gold. As a Canadian, I am scared but also want it.
Bronze medal game Feb 21. Gold medal game Feb 22.
NHL returns Feb 24. MLB in spring. For now it is NBA and Olympic hockey.
