What is The Otterline? A Simple Intro

The goal is simple: reduce noise and highlight what’s actually working.

How It Works

Otterline tracks five independent models and continuously evaluates their performance. We don’t just look at how each model performs on its own—we also analyze how they perform when they agree on the same game outcome.

Model combinations that consistently lose are removed from curated picks. Combinations that show strong, repeatable results are featured.

Example:

If Models A, C, and E show a 75 percent win rate together, that combination may be featured.

If Models A and E only show a 45 percent win rate, that combination is hidden.

Strategy Matters

Otterline works best when paired with a clear strategy.

The goal is long-term profitability, not daily perfection. Short losing streaks are normal. Quitting after a couple losses guarantees failure.

You should:

Bet only what you’re comfortable losing

Stick to a consistent approach

Track results over time

Judge performance monthly, not daily

Discipline matters more than any single pick.

Featured Picks

On any given night, there can be anywhere from 1 to 15 NHL games. Our job is to filter the noise and surface the strongest opportunities.

That’s why the Picks page focuses on curated pick styles backed by tested model combinations. We continue to test new strategies while highlighting the ones that are performing best.

The goal is simple:

1 to 5 picks per day you can trust.
